The Department of Economics at the University of Turku opens a Post-Doctoral Researcher position in Economics for a fixed term of 24 months, starting in the autumn of 2013 (exact starting date negotiable).
The successful applicant will have previous experience of independent research in the field of economics, and preferably already has some good quality publications. Preference will be given to candidates whose research interests are linked to the research areas of faculty members at the Department of Economics. The salary is based on the salary system of Finnish universities, and it consists of a task-specific salary component and a personal performance salary component. The task-specific salary component of a post-doctoral researcher is at level 5–7 (2820,64-3799,56€/month). The component based on personal performance adds a maximum of 46,3 % to this salary.
